Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteering and Mentoring are an integral part of the community surrounding Alta-1 campuses. The College actively seeks to work with passionate people from within partner churches and approved community groups who are willing to voluntarily dedicate a specific amount of time, weekly or fortnightly, to help be a positive influence and support in the lives of the students on our campuses.

Volunteering in Alta-1 can take many foms, both in and out of the classroom.

Your influence as a volunteer/ mentor is a significant way of giving back to the community and to building resilience and strength in our students. The College asks for an annual commitment, as our experience has shown this ensures a richer experience and value
for all involved.

Alta-1 College is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people, especially those who access our services. All applicants go through an interview process and if successful must provide current Working with Children Checks
and Police Clearance documents before commencing.

Alta-1 will also provide successful applicants with a mixture of both relevant online and live training in what’s required to be a volunteer/ mentor.

We would love you to join us in this incredible mission of changing lives one at a time.
